No Exit, Taylor Adams

I have a feeling this was a ‘Kindle Reccomends’ offer as it’s right up my street but I don’t remember searching for it!

Darby Thorne is just trying to get home. Her plans upended by an upsetting message from her sister, and she’s attempting to get through a terrible snow storm at the last minute.
Forced into a rest area by the weather, she is at first aggravated by the hold up. Little does she know the terror which awaits. Strangers are thrown together, isolated by the storm, and more than one dark and dangerous secret will be revealed.
Darby becomes embroiled, and couldn’t walk away even if she wanted to. One thing is certain, it’s going to be a long night.
This was well paced, with a fair few twists and turns. I definitely got that ‘heart in mouth’ feeling where the suspense has been built in such a way that you can never relax and believe the character you’re rooting for is really safe. It managed to keep you guessing until the end. There was a plot point or two which didn’t add up for me but overall that didn’t spoil anything.

Give it a try 🙂
